2013 was a big year for Apple. Not only did we release two new iPhones with the 5S and 5C, but we also announced the extremely polarizing iOS 7. And whether you loved or hated it, iOS 7 would be the most copied/talked about topic in the design world at that time and would go on to change everything.

It’s fun to look back at this work, as it’s one of the first projects I had at Apple. Myriad Set Pro is looking pretty outdated here, but we would end up keeping it as our main typeface until after Apple Watch was released in 2015. You’ll also notice that there are no mobile layouts and that’s because we wouldn’t start designing responsive layouts at Apple until around 2014.
